We are recruiting Professional Unarmed Security Officers responsible for protecting sites, properties, and clients. Success in this role requires adaptability and high performance in diverse conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Secure premises and personnel through patrolling, surveillance, building inspections, and access control.
• Prevent losses by reporting irregularities, enforcing policies, and monitoring trespassers.
• Manage crowd control during emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, or disasters.
• Complete reports by documenting observations, incidents, and surveillance activities; interview witnesses.
• Regularly inspect and patrol premises.
• Monitor entrances and exits, authorize access, and secure all exits, doors, and windows.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or suspicious activities.
• Assist people in need and maintain high alertness and attention to detail.
• Provide excellent customer service with professionalism and courtesy.
• Project a professional image in appearance and demeanor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Greet residents and guests courteously and assist as needed.
• Serve as a liaison to management and follow up to ensure client satisfaction.
• Handle requests using professional telephone etiquette.
• Control access and remain vigilant of non-residents and their purpose.
• Read and understand printed regulations, orders, and instructions.
• Write basic security reports conveying situational details.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Willingness to travel to Lusby, Maryland.
• Ability to ride a bicycle and walk up to a mile.
• High school diploma or GED and valid driver's license.
• Prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement preferred.
