Job summary

KR Contracting, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for Santa Rosa, CA, to perform security duties at the Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport.

This role requires a California Security Guard License, CHRC/STA checks, and a valid driver’s license. The position supports airport operations with professional post orders compliance. The officer will patrol, inspect, log activities, and respond to incidents while maintaining security and customer service at all times.

Qualifications

• Eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school graduate or equivalent certificate.
• Current and Active Driver's License.
• One (1) year of experience in security/law enforcement work.
• Must possess a California Security Guard License.
• Must undergo CHRC and STA per TSA regulations.
• Background check with no criminal record; no DV convictions.
• Must obtain and maintain Airport SIDA.
• English language assessment required.
• Stand/walk for entire shift; able to climb stairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain order and security, and remain professional, courteous, and respectful.
• Arrive on time, completely outfitted, and ready for duty.
• Adhere to customer policy and maintain confidential data.
• Assist in inspection of interior and exterior of building.
• Complete building inspection report.
• Patrol halls throughout buildings.
• Monitor for suspicious items or activities.
• Respond to calls for assistance, as needed.
• Provide breaks/relief to security staff.
• Monitor parking lot and employee entrances/exits.
• Complete daily logbook entry.
• Ensure safekeeping of all keys, access cards, fobs, and codes.

KR is accepting applications for experienced Unarmed Security Officers to provide unarmed patrol security services at the Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport.

Duties/Responsibility

Unarmed Security Officers shall perform all tasks in accordance with the duties outlined within the Post Orders and the Performance Work Statement. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Maintain order and security, and remain professional, courteous, and respectful
• Arrive on time, completely outfitted, and ready for duty
• Adhere to customer policy and maintain confidential data
• Assist in inspection of interior and exterior of building
• Complete building inspection report
• Patrol halls throughout buildings

Qualifications

• Current and Active Drivers License.
• One (1) year of experience in security/law enforcement work.
• Must possess a California Security Guard License
• Must undergo a fingerprint based Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) and Security Threat Assessment (STA) inaccordance with TSA regulations.
• Complete a background check with no clear criminal record, and not on any type of probation, no convictions or charges for any form of domestic violence
• Must obtain and maintain an Airport Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) at all times
• Shall fluently speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English. Must be able to pass an English Language Assessment Test.
• Read, understand, and apply printed rules and directions
• Stand and/or walk for an entire shift, run and climb stairs
