Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Officer (Unarmed) for a full-time position in Milwaukee, WI. The role focuses on deterring incidents through visible patrols, delivering customer service, and maintaining a secure environment at a retail site.

Minimum 2+ years of security, law enforcement, or military experience is required, with a background check and drug screen per policy. Pay is $28.28 per hour, with standard day-time to evening shifts and weekend coverage as listed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and visitor activity while maintaining a professional, approachable presence.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
