Job summary

Doyle Security Services is hiring a Security Guard to observe and report activities at a client site in New York, NY. You will patrol premises, enforce regulations, and maintain order to protect people and property.

Requirements include being at least 18, holding a valid NYS Security Guard License, and weekend availability with strong customer service and de-escalation skills. Position pays up to USD $20.00/hr with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Friday & Saturday 0800-1600 Sunday & Monday 1600-0000

Pay Range

Up to USD $20.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Must be available to work weekends
• Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations
