Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to observe and report activities at client sites, protect property and personnel, and enforce site regulations.

The role requires flexible availability across Mon-Sun shifts, with responsibilities including patrols, incident reporting, and quick response to incidents. The compensation is hourly USD with a range from $0.00 to $26.14 per hour, reflecting the job's entry-level to mid-level duties.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills.
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.
