Job summary

DreamFields in Massachusetts is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer to protect facilities and staff. You will patrol interiors and perimeters, monitor cameras, check in visitors, and enforce SOPs while maintaining vigilance and professionalism.

The role requires at least 21 years old, a valid ID, and experience in de-escalation, conflict resolution, self-defense, and crowd control. A High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years in security or customer service are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience as a security officer, law enforcement, or military.
• 2+ years of experience in customer service.
• First Aid/CPR certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Secure the designated station with attention, discipline, and professionalism.
• Check in facility visitors, guests, and employees.
• Ensure security SOPs are followed with strict adherence.
• Complete routine patrols of the facility interior and perimeter to ensure security checkpoints are secure on multiple levels.
• React to and report on-site security-related issues swiftly and without hesitation.
• Monitor facility security cameras to ensure the safety and security of employees and company property.
• Ensure that security room, gates, doors, locks, and camera systems are in working order during designated shifts.
