Qualifications

• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• 2+ years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required; licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and individuals by following security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking, and perimeter; report hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally, contacting site personnel or emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports; communicate information to leadership and site contacts.
