Job summary

Prosegur is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a grave shift in San Carlos, CA. This part-time role focuses on patrols, gate and access control, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Candidates should have a valid California Security Guard License, at least 1 year of security experience, and be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varied weather. Excellent customer service and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid California Security Guard License.
• Must be able to operate a company vehicle.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Exceptional customer service skills are absolutely required.
• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• Willingness to learn and operate multiple security systems confidently with provided training.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, including during varied weather conditions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols to identify safety hazards, security risks, and unauthorized access.
• Manage access control points, including gate operations and badge checks, to ensure authorized entry.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, incidents, or safety hazards promptly.
• Deliver excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors with professionalism and courtesy.
• Follow established site and company procedures, complying with all client and company policies.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents.
• Respond promptly and calmly to emergencies, disturbances, and client requests.
• Collaborate with the security team and site management to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Consistently maintain a clean, professional appearance and grooming standards.
