Job summary

Peralta Associates & Defense is seeking full-time Unarmed Security Officers to join our Alameda County team, delivering professional security services with a focus on safety and customer service.

You will conduct patrols, observe premises, report incidents, and enforce site policies while maintaining professional conduct in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Valid California Guard Card required.
• Power to arrest certificate required.
• Appropriate Use of Force certificate required.
• Remaining 32 hours of training.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service while adhering to safety, security procedures, and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills.
• Patrol the site on foot to identify potential dangers or criminal activity.
• Report any suspicious activity to supervisors or law enforcement as necessary.
• Maintain accurate reports by documenting observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Issue verbal warnings, make arrests (if applicable), and/or contact law enforcement for security violations or criminal activities.
• Adapt to various working environments and conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
