Job description

Marksman Security is looking for Unarmed Security Officers in the Montgomery, AL area. Positions include Rover, Gatehouse, and Front Desk. Pay is $20.16/hr. Shift is 3rd Shift – 9:00 pm to 5:30 am. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Security Officers deter criminal activity, protect property, enforce rules, monitor surveillance cameras, patrol areas, and perform security checks. In factories and offices, they provide protection for equipment and workers, check credentials of vehicles and individuals, and ensure safety.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security or customer service fields. State training and licensing assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

Available Security Officer Positions:

• Rover: Foot or vehicle patrols; detect suspicious behavior; prevent vandalism, thefts, or other criminal behavior.
• Gatehouse: Greet residents and guests, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, control access.
• Front Desk: Acknowledge and greet guests, provide customer service, access control, monitor CCTV, distribute packages.

Qualifications:

• At least 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid state licensing, mandatory
• Valid Driver's License
• Valid CPR
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with report writing
• Computer skills is a plus
• Monitoring and surveillance experience
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Previous security experience is not required however is a PLUS!
