Unarmed Security Officer MIL/LEO (Security)

Metro One Loss Prevention Services Group is a rapidly growing company currently hiring a Retail Security Officer. We have a state-of-the-art infrastructure and are a national company with 27 talent centers and over 250 locations across the country.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional manner.
• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot, bicycle, or vehicle.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Experience in military service or current National Guard or Reserves, and/or previous law enforcement experience
• Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all personnel and the public
• Valid guard card/license as required by the state
• Completion of a Bike Safety course may be required for some positions
• Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screening
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills for operating wireless technology
