Prosegur, located in Elmhurst, NY, is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for loss prevention. You will help protect customers and employees, conduct on-site patrols, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

The role requires standing for long hours, a High School Diploma, an Unarmed Security License, and solid communication and computer skills. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits and opportunities to grow within a global security organization.

Job Skills / Requirements

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
