Blueline Security Services is seeking a dedicated, professional, and licensed (or eligible for licensing) Unarmed Security Officer to join our team at J.Crew Harbor East in Baltimore, Maryland. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe and secure retail environment, protecting assets, and ensuring a positive experience for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Observe and report suspicious or unauthorized activities to deter theft and unwanted behavior.

Conduct regular security patrols of the store premises and surrounding areas.

Maintain detailed and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and activities throughout the shift.

Liaise with store management and staff to address security-related concerns and support loss prevention efforts.

Contact Emergency Services in case of incidents requiring immediate response.

Respond to dispatch center requests and follow company security protocols.

Qualifications

Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Possess a valid Maryland security guard license (or ability to obtain one).

Strong communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.

Competence in writing reports using a work-issued phone or device.

Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check (if applicable).

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Retail security or loss prevention experience is a plus.
