Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Officer in Marshall, MO to protect clients at a food and beverage location. You will monitor and patrol, provide excellent customer service, deter security incidents, and support daily operations with integrity and teamwork.

The role requires a high school diploma, a background check, and a drug screen where permitted. The schedule is full-time with a $17/hour pay rate, and opportunities for growth and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and visitors in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and/or access-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
