Job summary

Allied Universal in Sparks, NV is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Credential Verification Patrol at an automotive location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter threats, and assist visitors and employees with professionalism, providing outstanding customer service as part of a collaborative team that embodies our values.

This full-time role requires lifting up to 20 pounds, basic badge and access control experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at an automotive-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of vehicle storage areas, service and delivery areas, parking lots, access points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
