Job summary

Allied Universal in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Custom Protection Officer - Unarmed Checkpoint to safeguard clients across food/beverage sites. You will perform patrols, monitor access points, verify credentials, and deliver professional customer service.

This full-time role requires thorough safety procedures, calm responses to incidents, and clear communication. The position offers steady shifts and opportunities to grow within Allied Universal's security team.

Qualifications

• Must possess one or more of the listed qualifications.
• Experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
• Allied Universal will conduct background investigations and a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, perimeter, and shipping/receiving areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs of entries, deliveries, and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional, orderly environment by reporting maintenance concerns, access control issues, and potential hazards according to established procedures.
