Job summary

Central Security Agency is a Illinois licensed security agency seeking experienced security officers to protect high-value assets across Chicago-area locations. The role demands excellent customer service, strong reporting, and proficiency with surveillance systems. Shifts include evenings and weekends with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Valid PERC card.
• Previous experience as an Amred and / or Unarmed Security Guard is preferred.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures.
• Excellent written communication skills and report writing ability.
• Ability to operate surveillance equipment.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
• Ability to work with and without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
• Request emergency personnel for high risk situations.
• Perform security patrols of external and internal areas of locations.
• Monitor surveillance and security alarm systems.
• Provide assistance to business owners in emergency situations.
