Qualifications

• Monitors entrances and exits; controls entry, movement of people and vehicles, and parking.
• Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle to ensure a secure work environment.
• Prepares logs or reports for site; writes or types reports using standard grammar.
• Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, and other incidents following site procedures.
• Maintains Basic First Aid and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitors entrances and exits; controls entry, movement of people and vehicles and parking; operates gate and examines vehicle contents.
• Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle to ensure a secure work environment; checks for hazards and security violations.
• Prepares logs or reports for site; writes reports or enters information in a computer using standard grammar.
• Responds to incidents following procedures established for the site and training level.
• Maintains readiness and safety through first aid and CPR as required.
