Job summary

Strategic Security (SSC) is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to conduct unarmed foot patrols in Government, corporate, retail or fast food environments. Responsibilities include monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, controlling access, reporting incidents, and assisting in emergencies while maintaining a professional appearance.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety protocols, and complying with weapon restrictions.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• State licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
• State Licensed Unarmed Security Guard Card / License if required by state/city/locality

Responsibilities

• Deter criminal activity through visible patrols and engagement.
• Report suspicious behavior, hazards, and incidents to Walmart management.
• Use Walmart's time and attendance system to check in/out at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Maintain communication using a company radio and cell phone; respond to emergencies per training.
• Follow Walmart's safety protocols and withdraw from dangerous situations—contact law enforcement when necessary.
• Professional Appearance: Uniform must be worn at all times.
