Job summary

A & Associates is seeking an Unarmed Level 1 Officer to monitor our premises, protect staff and visitors, and deter vandalism or criminal activity. You will follow post orders and SOPs, maintaining a safe environment with clear authority and high situational awareness.

The role includes patrolling, responding to alarms, writing reports, and coordinating with Security Management. Multiple shifts available; in-person work location in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as security officer or guard.
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Military background and or law enforcement is welcomed.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
• Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
• Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
• Provide assistance to people in need
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
