Job summary

Allied Universal in Nashville, TN is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspection to monitor and safeguard financial institutions and other client sites. You will maintain visible presence, respond to incidents, and provide friendly, professional service to employees and visitors.

The role offers flexible day/night shifts, competitive pay of $20.00 per hour, and opportunities to participate in our Shift-Claim platform for additional hours and growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site policy, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate shift logs, and communicate relevant security-related information to supervisors and site contacts.
