Job summary

HT Protective Services, LLC seeks a full-time DC Security Officer to patrol upscale apartment communities in Washington, DC, with shifts from 11 pm-7 am or 10 pm-4 am. You may walk exterior patrols in heat, cold, and rain.

Responsibilities include patrolling property and parking areas, monitoring entrances and cameras, responding to incidents, writing clear reports, and enforcing rules professionally.

Qualifications

• Active DC Security Officer license required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Reliable transportation and a cell phone.
• The ability to work independently and write clear reports.
• A professional appearance and attitude.
• Security experience is preferred but not required.

ACTIVE DC SECURITY OFFICER LICENSE REQUIRED.

You must hold a current DC Security Officer license to be considered.

Pay:

$19.00/hr, Full-time, Biweekly pay, 401(k), Performance bonus

Shifts:

11 pm-7 am; 10 pm - 4 am, plus other shifts as available.

Weekends and holidays are required.

An upscale apartment community, Washington, DC. Metro-accessible.

What the job is really like

This is a roving post, and you'll be walking for part of your shift, indoors and outdoors, in heat, cold and rain during exterior patrols at some properties.

You will:
