Job summary

Allied Universal in De Soto, Kansas seeks a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol to safeguard client sites, deter incidents, and deliver strong customer service. You will monitor areas, respond to alarms, and communicate clearly with site contacts, while upholding company standards.

Position is full-time with a pay rate of $22.28 per hour. Minimum one year security experience, background checks, and a drug screen are required where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of office areas, workspaces, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, document observations and actions per site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts and leadership, maintaining reports.
