Job summary

Allied Universal in San Diego, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time for a pharmaceutical company site. You will monitor and patrol interiors and exterior areas, deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and clear communication.

You will log observations, respond to alarms and incidents calmly, and follow escalation procedures while documenting details for leadership.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and tenants at a commercial real estate location by following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor authorization, and maintain logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Document observations and communicate information to leadership.
