Job summary

Doyle Security Services seeks a vigilant security professional to observe and report activities at a client site, protecting people and property and enforcing site rules.

Shifts are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM with days varying; candidates must stand for long periods and perform routine patrols. A NY State Security Guard License is required; an associate degree in a fire/security field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have valid NY State Security Guard License.
• Associate or higher degree in a fire/security related field is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must understand and communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be physically able to perform the duties.
• Technical working knowledge of building systems.
• Protective security experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
