Job summary

Metro One LPSG is seeking an unarmed Security Officer in Bridgeport, AL. The role includes 2 weeks PTO and paid training to become an SOC Analyst for a Fortune 500 client, with weekly pay and opportunities for benefits.

Responsibilities include auditing security systems, monitoring alarms, coordinating incidents, and maintaining documentation. Applicants should have a high school diploma, be 18+, authorized to work in the United States, and able to obtain the AL security license; reliable

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong, stable work history.
• Must pass a drug test and background screening.
• Prior security, military, corrections, or law enforcement experience is a plus.
• State Security License preferred; assistance to obtain it is available.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Audit and review security systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Monitor and analyze alarms, access control, and intrusion systems to identify true threats and reduce false positives.
• Coordinate and dispatch resources during security incidents, serving as the primary communication hub.
• Lead communication during crisis events, including preparedness alerts and business continuity actions.
• Support commissioning, testing, and configuration of new or upgraded security systems.
• Compile documentation and evidence for reports, audits, and investigations.
• Refine security procedures based on evolving threats and operational needs.

Your Responsibilities

Communication & Compliance

• Escalate incidents according to established procedures


• Provide clear, calm communication during rapidly evolving situations


• Collaborate with internal teams and client representatives


• Follow all SOC SOPs, post orders, and regulatory requirements


• Participate in drills, tabletop exercises, and ongoing training

Minimum Education Required

High School/GED

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).


• Must be at least 18 years of age.


• Authorized to work in the United States.


• Strong, stable work history.


• Must pass a drug test and background screening.


• Prior experience in security, military, corrections, or law enforcement is a plus.
