Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license per policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Guard card is required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years old for role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by enforcing site policies and emergency procedures at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, hazards, and suspicious activity to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation as required by site.
