Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed - Afternoons in Savannah, GA to protect a manufacturing and industrial site. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide a welcoming, safe environment for employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background checks required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access activity and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, while maintaining professional interactions with personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
