Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, seeks a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Care) in Norfolk, VA. You will monitor and protect client locations, perform unarmed patrols, handle access control, and deliver strong customer service in a defense/aerospace setting.

Ideal candidates may hold a guard card/license and CPR/First Aid certifications. Pay is $19.95/hour with multiple shifts; full-time schedule includes Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun; Equal

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law and job screening.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report concerns.
• Monitor access activity and verify authorization; assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures as assigned.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain logs for patrol activities and observations.
