Job summary

Allied Universal in Pflugerville, TX is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed to safeguard client sites within logistics and distribution environments. You will monitor entry points, verify access, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication.

The full-time role follows a DayTime schedule with night shifts and offers a pay rate of $18.52 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, process visitors and drivers, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate contacts and responders as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, perimeter, and other designated areas.
• Assist with controlling vehicle and pedestrian flow at entry points to support orderly operations.
