Security Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 12AM-8AM) in Tennessee. This temporary position starts 10/26/2026 with potential to become full-time, offering competitive wages and benefits.

Duties include patrols, access control, alarm response, and detailed logging to protect client sites. Requirements include a valid state security license or eligibility, valid driver's license/MVR, 18+ years of age, CPR/AED certified, and 24-7 availability as

Qualifications

Must have or be able to obtain a valid State Security License.
Must be at least 18 years old.
CPR & AED certified.
Warehouse experience.
Truck gate operations.
CCTV knowledge.
Availability for weekends and varying hours.

Responsibilities

Patrol & surveillance of sites to identify safety concerns and report them.
Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials.
Respond to alarms and incidents per protocol; maintain logs.
Enforce site policies and assist visitors and employees.

Role:

Security Engineers is seeking dedicated Unarmed Patrol Security Officers to help maintain safe and secure environments for our clients. Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have or be able to obtain a valid State Security License
Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards
Must be at least 18 years old
CPR & AED certified.
Warehouse experience
Truck gate operations
CCTV
24-7 availability as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

Patrol & Surveillance

Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns
Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials
Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity

Incident Response & Reporting

Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents
Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)

Customer Service & Policy Enforcement

Assist visitors and employees professionally
Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols
Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)
