Job summary

Prosegur Security is hiring Unarmed Security Officers in the Windermere, FL area. The role offers 1st Shift opportunities with both Full-Time and Part-Time schedules and a starting hourly wage of $19.00.

You will maintain a safe environment, assist clients, and uphold high service standards. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Security Guard License, at least one year of security experience, reliable transportation, and strong communications skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have a valid Security Guard License.
• Must have one (1) year of experience as a security officer.
• Must have open availability to work all shifts and schedules.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have good communications skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Must be able to walk/run flights of stairs daily.
• Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods.
• Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
