Job summary

The role requires patrolling, access control, and incident response with a focus on visible deterrence and professional conduct. Training is provided; state licensing may be required. This is a full-time, on-site position with weekend days as noted.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain a valid Security Officer/Guard License as required by the state licensing authority
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Conduct walking patrols to identify and report safety concerns
• Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials
• Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
• Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents
• Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)
• Assist visitors and employees professionally
• Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols
• Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)
