Job summary

Security Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for the 1st shift (Saturday and Tuesday, 0600-1400) in Colorado. The role requires vigilance, reporting, and compliance with client site procedures to maintain a safe environment for staff and visitors.

Starting pay is based on experience, with benefits including health and other insurances. Employment is full-time, with background checks and post-offer screening standard.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Customer service experience and a professional, service-oriented approach.
• Valid driver's license and an MVR approved under SEI's policy.
• Must have or obtain a valid Security Officer/Guard License as required by the state licensing authority.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of the facility and grounds.
• Monitor access control points and verify identification.
• Enforce site security procedures and respond to alarms and incidents.
• Maintain daily activity, observation, and incident logs.
• Write incident and activity reports and communicate information via radio, phone, and in person.
• Operate CCTV and electronic security systems; secure doors and monitor terminals.
• Assist employees and visitors, resolving questions professionally.
• Enforce company policies on smoking, loitering, and parking.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
