Position Summary: Provide professional, high-level unarmed security services for personnel, visitors, and property across various buildings in the New York, NY area.

Pay Transparency/Compensation: Rate of Pay: $32.00/hr. Paid training at full hourly rate.

Responsibilities

• Provide security through perimeter checks, internal security, threat monitoring, etc.
• Protect personnel and property professionally
• Interact tactfully with the public and visitors
• Screen and process visitors efficiently
• Identify, report, delay, or detain rule violators
• Conduct patrols via vehicle, bicycle, or foot
• Manage traffic control as needed
• Respond to alarms and emergencies
• Secure entrances/exits during incidents
• Control keys and lock combinations
• Communicate via radio or cellular phone
• Follow all policies and procedures
• Report incidents and suspicious activities
• Complete required reports and paperwork
• Provide first aid, CPR, and emergency assistance
• Maintain mandated training standards
• Ensure safety compliance and participate in safety programs
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Attend work regularly and in person

Qualifications

• Meet one of the following experience requirements: Law Enforcement Academy graduate, honorable military discharge (E4+), 4+ years licensed security experience, or 5+ years unarmed and 2+ years armed/security/military experience.
• Possess a valid NY Security license
• High School diploma or equivalent (foreign education evaluated)
• U.S. citizen with SS card
• Valid driver’s license
• Meet medical, physical, background, psychological, and drug screening standards
• State certification/license for non-lethal devices; Taser certification is a plus
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification
• Clear written and spoken English
• Complete required training and certification
