WHAT YOU WILL DO:

1. Provide excellent customer service to the client, client employees, visitors, and vendors by offering directions, answering questions, and immediately addressing/escalating concerns.
2. Maintain access control to the client site. This is not limited to checking credentials and documentation to ensure individuals have approval to enter the client site.
3. Regularly patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to be a visual deterrent, prevent vandalism, or any suspicious activity.
4. Report any security breaches, safety hazards, or suspicious activity immediately.
5. Write clear, comprehensive and concise reports using a structured format to capture full incident details.
6. Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and take appropriate action to mitigate risk or damage.
7. Work collaboratively with colleagues and client employees with various tasks as assigned by supervisors and managers.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

1. Observation and Attention to Detail: Ability to remain vigilant and capture relevant details for reporting.
2. Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication skills during interactions and reporting.
3. Physical Fitness: Ability to patrol large areas, stand for long periods and quickly report emergencies and threats.
4. Conflict Resolution: De-escalate tense situations calmly and effectively.
5. Technical Skills: Ability to operate security equipment and systems to effectively complete daily tasks.
6. Customer Service Oriented: Friendly and approachable demeanor to assist the client, client employees, visitors and vendors while maintaining a professional security presence.

YOUR BACKGROUND:

1. At least 18 years of age or older
2. High school education or equivalent (GED)
3. Legally authorized to work in the United States
4. Have a solid/stable work history.
5. Participate in pre-employment screening process.
6. Security, Military, Corrections, or Law Enforcement experience is a PLUS.
7. Arizona Security License or ability to obtain one. No worries, we can guide you!
8. Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the scheduled location regardless of public transportation shut downs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The job may require work in various environments, such as indoor/outdoor access control posts as well as reception and patrol posts. Shifts may vary, and flexibility is required to ensure schedule needs are met and the client site is secured.
