Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring security personnel to perform site checks, monitor docks, and deter theft at client locations. The role requires the Texas non-commissioned security license, strong observation skills, and the ability to multitask across multiple posts.

Starting pay is $17.50 per hour with benefits including insurance, PTO, and opportunities for growth. Evening/weekend availability may be required; a background check and drug screen are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Texas security license (non-commissioned) required.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Monitoring and surveillance experience.
• Able to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Device Check: scan tags on approved devices and verify IMEI against paperwork.
• North Dock: monitor dock activity, track outbound trucks, count pallets, supervise loading/unloading phases.
• South Dock: count pallets for inbound trucks, monitor open dock doors, handle emails and truck data.
• Metal Detector: manage device checkouts, ensure visitors clear the X-ray and entry controls.
• Rover: patrol areas to deter theft attempts.
• Tracker: track high-value loads using computer software.

Responsibilities

• Device Check: Scanning tag on the back of approved employee devices, Reading persons IMEI on phone making sure it matches the sticker or paperwork provided for the approved device.
• North Dock: Monitoring trash dump for theft attempts, opening and closing dock doors, tracking outbound trucks, counting pallets for inbound trucks, monitoring open dock doors as they are being loaded. monitoring special projects during peak season
• South Dock: Counting pallets for inbound trucks, monitoring special projects during peak season, sending and receiving emails, typing truck information , and monitoring open dock doors. open and close dock doors
• Metal Detector: Checking devices in and out; only approved devices with a sticker or approved paperwork are allowed. Making sure visitors clear through the x-ray. Watching the X-Ray machine, making sure everyone clears through the X-Ray. Making sure no prohibited items enter the building.
• Rover: Will be walking throughout the area to assist in deterring theft attempts
• Tracker: Keeps track of all high value loads via computer software.

Required Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Non-commissioned security license through the state of Texas required!
• Familiarity with report writing
• Monitoring and surveillance experience
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
