Job summary

Gamma Team Security is seeking a professional Security Officer to help create and maintain a safe environment for clients, employees, and assets. The ideal candidate has prior security or public safety experience, demonstrates strong integrity, and remains attentive and professional at all times.

Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring entrances, reviewing surveillance, responding to incidents, and documenting daily activity reports with clear, detailed records for all events.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License preferred.
• Previous experience as a Security Officer, Guard, or in a related role preferred.
• Illinois PERC Card and completion of 20-Hour Basic Training required.
• Reliable mobile device with internet access for reporting and communication.
• Strong knowledge of public safety/security procedures and protocols.
• Excellent written communication and report-writing skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel have access.
• Remove trespassers or unauthorized individuals when necessary.

• Complete detailed daily activity reports and document all security incidents.
