Candidates should have prior security or public safety experience, with integrity and professionalism at all times. Responsibilities include patrolling varied sites, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and reviewing surveillance footage to deter threats.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois PERC Card is required and 20-hour basic training completed.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Reliable mobile device with internet access for reporting and communication.
• Strong knowledge of public safety procedures and protocols.
• Excellent written communication and report-writing skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and sound judgment.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Wide range of assignments – events, construction, demolition sites, retail, corporate, etc.
• Patrol assigned premises and maintain high visibility to deter incidents.
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel have access.
• Remove trespassers or unauthorized individuals when necessary.
• Monitor and review surveillance cameras for unusual activity.
• Respond promptly to incidents and reports of suspicious behavior.
