Job summary

Marksman Security Corporation is recruiting a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer for the 2nd shift at a high-volume distribution facility in Texas. The role centers on access control, security checks, dock monitoring, and patrols to safeguard people, property, and assets.

Openings include Site Monitoring and Warehouse Security Lead; the latter requires lead experience. You must be 18+, hold a Texas Non-Commissioned Security License, and bring strong customer service and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• Non-commissioned security license through the state of Texas required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Monitoring and surveillance experience.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Commit to posted schedule: Sat–Tue, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
• Lead experience required for Warehouse Security Lead opening.

Responsibilities

• Access Control: Perform access control and security checks according to site procedures.
• Dock Operations: Monitor shipping areas, open and close dock doors, log inbound and outbound trucks, and help prevent theft during loading and peak-season projects.
• Receiving Support: Assist with inbound truck processing, keep accurate logs, send and receive emails, and monitor open dock doors.
• Security Checks: Conduct security checks according to site procedures and report any concerns to your supervisor.
• Rover: Patrol assigned areas on foot to deter theft, and observe and report suspicious activity.
• Site Monitoring: Use site computer systems to monitor activity and keep accurate records according to site procedures.

$17.50 per hour

Saturday thru Tuesday 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Texas Non-Commissioned Security License is Required

Lead Experience is Required for the Warehouse Lead Opening

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security AND customer service fields.

Join our team at a high-volume distribution and warehouse facility as a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer, where you’ll play a critical role in protecting people, property, and assets. You will be responsible for access control, security checks, dock and warehouse monitoring, and patrols.

Post assignment for this schedule: Opening 1: Site Monitoring (Sat–Mon), Warehouse Patrol (Tue)
