M1 Global is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer to provide service-driven security at client sites in Garysburg, NC. The role emphasizes customer service, reliable post coverage, and timely reporting. You’ll monitor access and surveillance, then document daily activities with accuracy and integrity.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, possess a high school diploma or GED, and can pass a background check and drug test. State license support is offered as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a drug test and background screening.
• Prior security, military, corrections, or law enforcement experience is a plus.
• State Security License preferred; assistance available to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and visitors.
• Monitor CCTV surveillance and complete accurate daily activity reports.
• Observe, survey, and report on activities at your assigned post.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to incidents and emergencies.

Requirements

• Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
• Must be able to successfully pass an oral swab drug test.
• Must complete two days of Guard Class training and complete all required PPSB forms.
• Metro One will sponsor the required application and class fees.

Summary

• We are seeking reliable and flexible Security Officers for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Candidates must have availability to work both weekdays and weekends.
• We are hiring forpart-time positions. Officers may also be required to provide shift coverage when other guards are on vacation, call out, or are otherwise unavailable.

The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, and willing to assist with staffing needs as they arise. Opportunities for additional hours and continued employment may be available based on business needs, availability, and performance.
