Position Details

• Type: Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer for Genesee Intermediate School District
• Schedule: Monday through Thursday, every other Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm
• Wage: $15.00/hour

Primary Responsibilities

• Monitor grounds and facility for suspicious activity
• Monitor all persons entering/leaving the facility
• Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
• Stay alert and aware at all times
• Provide excellent customer service
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry
• Perform additional duties as assigned within the school district

Position Requirements

• Minimum 6 months security experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work independently
• Pass criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license
