Gamma Team Security is seeking a reliable Security Officer in Illinois to protect clients, employees, visitors, and property by maintaining a safe environment. The ideal candidate is observant, dependable, and committed to excellent customer service while responding to security concerns.

Prior security, law enforcement, or related public safety experience is preferred. The role covers a wide range of assignments—from events to retail—requiring vigilance, clear reporting, and strong judgment.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois PERC Card and completion of 20-Hour Basic Training required.
• Previous experience in security roles preferred.
• Driver's license preferred and reliable mobile device for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned premises and maintain high visibility to deter incidents.
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel have access.
• Remove trespassers or unauthorized individuals when necessary.
• Monitor and review surveillance cameras for unusual or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to incidents and reports of suspicious behavior.
• Complete detailed daily activity reports and document security incidents.
• Assist with a wide range of assignments across events, construction, demolition sites, retail, and corporate settings.

• Wide range of potential assignments - events, construction, demolition sites, retail, corporate, etc.
