Gamma Team Security is seeking a professional Security Officer to help create and maintain a safe environment for clients, employees, and assets. Prior security or public safety experience, integrity, and professionalism are essential.

The role encompasses a wide range of assignments including events and retail, with emphasis on deterrence, access control, incident response, and thorough reporting. Strong observational and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License preferred.
• Previous experience as a Security Officer, Guard, or in a related role preferred.
• Valid Illinois PERC Card and completion of 20-Hour Basic Training required.

Responsibilities

• Wide range of potential assignments - events, construction, demolition sites, retail, corporate, etc.
• Patrol assigned premises and maintain a high level of visibility to deter incidents
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel have access
• Remove trespassers or unauthorized individuals when necessary
• Monitor and review surveillance cameras for unusual or suspicious activity
• Respond promptly to incidents and reports of suspicious behavior
• Complete detailed daily activity reports and document all security incidents
