Job summary

Gamma Team Security Inc is seeking Unarmed Security Guards (Part Time) to work at various locations throughout Michigan. The role involves maintaining a safe environment for clients, employees, and visitors at assigned sites.

You will patrol, monitor surveillance, control access, and respond to incidents in a professional manner. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in security-related work, a valid Michigan driver’s license, and the ability to pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Driver’s License.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience (law enforcement/military/licensed security).
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• No felony convictions.
• Mentally and emotionally fit for security duties.
• In good physical condition.
• Willing to have fingerprints taken.
• Must pass drug screening and have no substance dependency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine foot or vehicle patrols of assigned areas (interior and exterior).
• Monitor surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm equipment.
• Manage facility access by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and documenting entries.
• Observe, identify, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
• Maintain order, protect property, and ensure the safety of employees and visitors.
• Prepare accurate and timely daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and emergency personnel when necessary.
• Follow all company procedures, client protocols, and applicable state and federal regulations.

Unarmed Security Guard – Requirements

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Driver’s License
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident
• Minimum 1 year of experience in one of the following:
  • Law enforcement
  • Military service
  • Employment with a licensed security agency
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Must not have any felony convictions
• Must be mentally and emotionally fit to perform security duties
• Must be in good physical condition
• Must not have been adjudged mentally incompetent, unless legally restored by court order
• Must have no outstanding warrants
• Must be willing to have fingerprints taken
• Must pass drug screening and have no substance dependency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous security, customer service, military, or law enforcement experience.
• Experience with security technology and reporting systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.

Work Environment

This position involves working indoors and outdoors, sometimes in varying weather conditions. Officers must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times and follow all safety protocols.
