Job summary

Gamma Team Security Inc is seeking an Unarmed Security Guard (Part Time) to provide a safe, secure environment across multiple Michigan sites. You will patrol interior and exterior areas, monitor cameras and access control, verify IDs, and document entries. The role emphasizes calm incident response and strict adherence to client protocols.

Qualifications include a Michigan driver’s license, 18+ years, U.S. citizen or resident status, and 1 year in security or related fields.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Driver’s License.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in law enforcement, military, or licensed security.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must not have any felony convictions.
• Must be willing to have fingerprints taken.
• Must pass drug screening and have no substance dependency.
• Must be mentally, emotionally fit to perform security duties.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine foot or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas.
• Monitor surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm equipment.
• Manage facility access by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and documenting entries.
• Observe, identify, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
• Maintain order, protect property, and ensure the safety of employees and visitors.
• Prepare accurate and timely daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and emergency personnel when necessary.
• Follow all company procedures, client protocols, and applicable state and federal regulations.

Gamma Team Security Inc provides professional security services across multiple states. We are currently seeking Unarmed Security Guards (Part Time) to work at various locations and facilities throughout the state of Michigan. This position involves providing a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors at assigned sites.

Key Responsibilities

Unarmed Security Guard – Requirements

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Driver’s License
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident
• Minimum 1 year of experience in one of the following:
  • Law enforcement
  • Military service
  • Employment with a licensed security agency
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Must not have any felony convictions
• Must be mentally and emotionally fit to perform security duties
• Must be in good physical condition
• Must not have been adjudged mentally incompetent, unless legally restored by court order
• Must have no outstanding warrants
• Must be willing to have fingerprints taken
• Must pass drug screening and have no substance dependency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous security, customer service, military, or law enforcement experience.
• Experience with security technology and reporting systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.

Work Environment

This position involves working indoors and outdoors, sometimes in varying weather conditions. Officers must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times and follow all safety protocols.
