Position Summary

Seeking Casual Security Officers to provide routine patrol and access control functions, including property control for Aerospace in Colorado Springs, CO.

Must have secret clearance.

PAY TRANSPARENCY/COMPENSATION: $23.69 an hour

Responsibilities

• Patrol Buyer’s facilities and report all security or safety deficiencies.
• Conduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed.
• Respond to crimes and emergencies to assist, observe, report, and contain.
• Enforce Buyer’s access and property control policies at gates and lobbies.

Qualifications

• Must be U.S. citizen.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must have a current Secret Clearance or higher.
• Must have a current guard card.
• Successfully pass criminal, credit, and driving records checks.
• Successfully pass an employment physical.
• Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms.
• Write and speak clearly and effectively in English.
• Be fully computer literate with computer hardware.
• Must be able to pass training and obtain required certifications and licenses.
• At least 6 months of aerospace-related security experience.

Working Conditions

Subject to frequent interruptions. May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting for prolonged periods, and climbing 8 or more flights of stairs.
