Marksman Security Corporation in Chattanooga, TN is hiring a Flex Security Officer for 3rd shift. The role includes guarding properties, providing excellent customer service, and monitoring access and surveillance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum one year security experience required.
• Minimum of one year supervisory experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving history.
• High School diploma or GED.
• TN Security License required.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job (lifting 50+ lbs, patrols, stairs, inclement weather).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties on duty, including directions and information.
• Maintain clear administrative logs at front desk for people and property.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to prevent theft and maintain safety.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, and document incidents for security management.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum one year of security experience required.
• Minimum of one year supervisory experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving history Required
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• TN Security License Required
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
