EKG Security, Inc. is a professional security company looking for motivated individuals who take pride in themselves and their work. We are currently looking to fill open positions in the Charlotte, NC, area with officers who enjoy serving others while providing quality protection services.

Job Title: Unarmed Security Officer

Position Type: Full-time and Part-time

Tentative Start Date: ASAP

Shift Type: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

Pay rate: 15.00 / hr.

Job Description:

Unarmed security positions providing fixed and roving patrol security for a client site

• Ensure a safe environment through a team effort of diligent active patrol, strict access control, monitoring, and equipment control
• Visible and observant at all times, greeting staff, guests, and vendors in a courteous and attentive manner
• Respond immediately to distress calls, panic alarms, and emergency calls for disorderly conduct, disruptive persons, and incidents swiftly and appropriately
• Collaborate with other security officers for effective protection and coverage

Qualification Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a valid Driver's License (required if driving a company vehicle)

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Attention to detail is a plus
• 1-year security experience preferred, but not required
• Able to assess and evaluate situations effectively
• Must be able to stand/sit for long periods as well as ability to ascend and descend stairs with loads up to 50 lbs
• Proficiency with computers, and aptitude to learn new software and systems
• Able to answer phones and operate a 2-way radio
• Impeccable character/integrity
