Job summary

At M1 Global, an Equal Opportunity Employer, we are hiring an Unarmed Security Officer in Bridgeport, AL. The role offers paid training to SOC Analyst pathways, 2 weeks PTO, and weekly pay.

You will audit security systems, monitor alarms, coordinate incident response, and help maintain security standards for a Fortune 500 client. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, eligibility to work in the U.S., drug/background checks, and a state security license (licensing support provided).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a drug test and background screening.
• State Security License preferred; we can help and provide information to obtain it.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Audit and review security systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
• Monitor and analyze alarms, access control, and intrusion systems to identify true threats and reduce false positives
• Coordinate and dispatch resources during security incidents, serving as the primary communication hub
• Lead communication during crisis events, including preparedness alerts and business continuity actions
• Support commissioning, testing, and configuration of new or upgraded security systems
• Compile documentation and evidence for reports, audits, and investigations
• Refine security procedures based on evolving threats and operational needs

Your Responsibilities:

• Audit and review security systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements

Communication & Compliance

• Escalate incidents according to established procedures
• Provide clear, calm communication during rapidly evolving situations
• Collaborate with internal teams and client representatives
• Follow all SOC SOPs, post orders, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in drills, tabletop exercises, and ongoing training

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a drug test and background screening.
• Prior experience in security, military, corrections, or law enforcement is a plus.
